ABOUT ME

My name is Lauren Great. I'm a scriptwriter and producer. My screenwriting skills include television comedy, shorts, PSAs, and copywriting. I also engage in creative writing. I am proficient in various computer programs, including Microsoft Office and the Adobe Creative Suite. For example, I have written for the Mayor's Office Channel 26 News for the City of Atlanta, and I have worked extensively behind the scenes on the show Atlanta&Company at 11Alive.

 

I love writing. I love creating a vision on the page and seeing it come to life on screen. I don't believe that the vision is ever perfect on the page or on-screen, but that is the purpose. Perfection is not the goal for me, passion is. I believe that if you are passionate about something, then it doesn't matter if it is perfect, it matters that it happened because of your determination and because of your love for what you do. I want to be a writer for television so that every day my words can become life.
